Hydroponics

Today we are already familiar with hydroponics. Many people out there who have a hydroponic farming. However, there is no harm here is my review back on hydroponics. Good medium for hydroponics is that it can absorb and deliver water, does not affect the pH, do not change the color, light, easily available and cheap, and not easily covered with fungus alias not easily weathered or decomposed.
Media commonly used in hydroponics are: pieces of coconut husk, pieces of fern stems, broken tiles, broken bricks, roofed, pumice (black pumice stone, pumice red, white pumice stone), perlite, zeolite, sponges and charcoal.
In addition to planting medium on top, in the hydroponic cultivation, is needed again another tool, that tool or a place to accommodate the growing media. Placeholder growing media frequently encountered and we already know is pot. Pot is a tool to accommodate growing media where the media will we Tanami with plants. Pot commonly used in hydroponics there are various kinds which are
1.        Full Pot
There is a cylindrical shape, straight, short, wide or inverted truncated cone-shaped. Pot in the basin is equipped with a place holder so that plant roots are not submerged in water, while the bottom side there are small holes where the discharge elongate roots when the pot is full. Section there are side air basin as a place of exchange, pot equipped with gauges in the water looks like a thermometer.
2.        Pot modification
Such pots equipped with saucers that serves as a water reservoir. Water into the pot by osmosis through holes that are the bottom or side pot.
3.        Simple Pot
This type of pot has a water reservoir and a plant holder are in one pot. Checking the water using the pipe were placed upright in the pot.

Hydroponic cultivation is tricky. Many factors that influence success. And the crucial factor is the level of adaptation of the plant itself. Level of difficulty adapting to the way a hydroponic plants are generally divided into three levels, namely:
1.        Plants that are difficult to adapt
Plants of this type are usually slower growth after being transferred, if one handling these plants can die. Examples of plants that are difficult beradaptanasi through cultivation hidoponik is suplir and ferns.
2.        Plants that were
If compared the first plant species, plant species adaptation is faster, smaller risk of death. Examples of plants that regenerate roots less quickly, as walosonggo and Aglaonema.
3.        Plants are adaptable
Characteristics of this plant is regenerated roots quickly, usually can be propagated by stem cuttings or seedlings. Diffenbachia example, palm, Spathiphyllum.
